Wheelchairs, Mobility Aids and Service Animals are Welcome

Passengers, please ask the driver for help if needed. Gila River Transit is committed to accessible public transportation. All buses are equipped with ramps. All buses accommodate wheelchairs and scooters. 

The driver will secure wheelchairs and scooters before departing. Service animals are allowed and must be kept under the control of the passenger at all times.

Passengers, please fold strollers and keep them from aisles. Children must be held securely on an adult’s lap, or use the seat belts provided. If a wheelchair securement location is available, children may stay in the stroller in this area. Adults can place the stroller facing the rear of the bus and ask the driver for assistance. If a passenger in a wheelchair needs this area, passengers may be asked to move further back. 

Passengers, for the safety of everyone, please ensure that pull carts, packages and luggage are not blocking the aisles.
